THE BLACK RABBIT

According to the lunar calendar, each year bears a combination of one of the twelve zodiac animals (rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig), and one of the five elements (wood, fire, earth, metal, and water). This unique combination symbolizes what to expect for the upcoming new year.

2023 is the Year of the Black Rabbit, a year that symbolizes prosperity and tranquility. In Chinese traditional culture, water means great fortune. The color black represents water, hence the name ‘Black Rabbit’.
